Cherry Mobile Flare Finally Goes on Sale on November 17
In all my years of writing about gaming, gadgets, and tech, I’ve never seen as much interest about a local smartphone brand than the Cherry Mobile Flare. In fact if you compute all the views Unbox has gotten about the iPhone 5 and the Galaxy Note 2 combined, it would still be less than our hands-on article about the Cherry Mobile Flare! It’s actually not that surprising though since the Cherry Mobile Flare offers crazy ass value. At Php3,999 you get a Dual-core Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich Dual SIM smartphone with a 4-inch capacitive touch screen. Whut? Php3,999? Craaaazzzyyyyyy!

In the last few weeks we’ve been asked so many times on when the Cherry Mobile Flare will be available. Well now we know! Cherry Mobile just posted on their Facebook Page an announcement saying that the Flare will be available staring November 17 at their concept stores in SM North Edsa and Robinson’s Manila. You can only get one unit per person though, hehe. The first 50 customers will also get a freebie which is what looking to be an external battery charger (see photo below).
Selling starts at 1PM. Based on the buzz we’ve seen it looks like they’ll be selling like hotcakes.
