The Dimensity 6300 is an Overclocked Dimensity 6100+

While the Dimensity 6100+ debuted with the realme 12 5G, MediaTek announced a new variation of the entry-level 5G processor with the Dimensity 6300. Both chips are essentially the same, with the main difference being the Cortex-A76 cores on the Dimensity 6300 being overclocked at 2.4Ghz instead of 2.2Ghz.

While it’s still made from the sam 6nm process and uses the same Mali-G57 MC2 GPU, MediaTek claims that the Dimensity 6300 should offer around 10% better CPU performance than the Dimensity 6100+.

This makes the Dimensity 6300 more similar to the Dimensity 6020 if we are going to talk about the CPU configuration. It’s also similar to the majority of the Dimensity 6000 series with its support for LPDDR4X RAM, UFS 2.2 storage, up to Full HD+ displays, up to 108-megapixel main cameras, and connectivity options that include WiFi 5 and Bluetooth 5.2.

Just as how the Dimensity 6100+ debuted with the realme 12 5G, another realme phone will debut the Dimensity 6300, and it’s rumored to be the India-only C65 5G.

According to the leaks, the C65 5G will have a 6.67-inch 120hz display and a circular module that has a 50-megapixel main camera. It will allegedly ger a 5000mAh battery with 15w charging, along with configuration options of up to 6GB/128GB.

Unlike the C65 4G, the C65 5G looks like a realme 12 5G, so there’s a slim chance that it will be made available outside of India.
