From Bird to Doge: Elon Musk Changes Twitter Logo

It seems that Elon Musk is very, very late to April Fools, as he decided to toy around with Twitter yet again by replacing the social media platform’s iconic bird logo with the Doge logo–to represent Musk’s support for Dogecoin.

While Twitter seems to be normal as we write this article–the blue bird logo is still there–there are multiple screenshot that proves Musk actually changed the logo with the Dogecoin Shiba icon.

We don’t know why Musk decided to change Twitter’s logo all of the sudden–or why is he a few days late to April Fool’s–but one thing’s for sure: the cringe move did help boost the value of Dogecoin by more than 30%.

Perhaps, it’s not just a weird move from Musk: his attorneys asked a federal judge last Friday to drop the $258 Billion lawsuit against Musk for allegedly manipulating the value of Dogecoin in 2022 by as much as 36,000%.

“There is nothing unlawful about tweeting worse of support for, or funny pictures about, a legitimate cryptocurrency that continues to hold a market cap of nearly $10 Billion,” Musk’s lawyers said in a statement.

Prior to this Doge craze, Musk faced multiple lawsuits for his Twitter posts. He, however, did win a court victory last February 3 when the San Francisco Jury found him not liable to tweeting his plans to make Tesla private last August 2018.
