SKY Fiber subscribers are getting speed upgrade for free, across multiple plans starting today. This upgrade will be available to subscribers with its most affordable P999 plan up to its highest, the SKY Fiber unlimited broadband plan.
Php 999 plan subscribers can expect their internet speeds to improve from 10 Mbps to 20 Mbps while SKY Fiber unlimited broadband plan users who previously get a top speed of 150 Mbps to 200 Mbps. SKY’s other internet bundled plans such as the SKY Fiber unlimited broadband plus HD cable bundle also get an upgrade from 60 Mbps to 120 Mbps. These speed upgrades should come automatically to SKY Fiber subscribers nationwide without having to request assistance from SKY Fiber. For SKY Fiber internet subscribers whose speeds haven’t changed, a 3-minute hard modem reset might be needed in order to experience faster speeds.
“Subscribers will continue to have broadband plans from SKY that are affordable but in addition get faster speeds that will entirely meet their needs,” SKY’s Consumer Products Group Head Claudia Suarez said. This is the ISP’s latest speed upgrade following up on their February speed upgrade where their highest plan topped out at 150 Mbps max internet speed.
