Razer just launched its newest gaming accessory: the Razer Phone Cooler Chroma. This RGB phone cooler is sure to prevent your smartphone from overheating due to intense usage or gaming.
According to Razer, the Phone Cooler’s “electronic Peltier cooling tile with heat sink draws heat away from your smartphone and dissipates it with a powerful yet quiet 7-blade fan, ensuring maximum airflow with minimal noise.”
The device has two versions: magnetic and “universal clamp.” The magnetic model is specifically designed for iPhones. It is compatible with Apple’s MagSafe accessory system and will just snap right onto the back of your iPhone. Meanwhile, the “universal clamp” model is designed to fit most Android devices, as well as iPhones that are not MagSafe-compatible.
Although phone compatibility is hardly an issue with this accessory, charging is troublesome as it doesn’t have a built-in battery. You will have to plug it into a USB-C power source for power, even if you’re using the MagSafe-compatible version.
Aside from that, it is a cool accessory and a must-have for gamers who want “bright and refined lighting effects for greater style and gaming immersion.”
The Razer Phone Cooler Chroma is not yet available in the Philippines, but it has a price of $59.99 (Php 3,000) in North America.
