Following its global announcement last June, Sony announced the official price of the flagship WF-1000XM4 TWS earbuds in the Philippines. As a successor to the WF-1000XM3, Sony incorporated a number of new upgrades on the WF-1000XM4.
From a visual standpoint, the WF-1000XM4 foregoes the pill-shaped design of its predecessor and borrows design elements from the WH-1000XM4. The new design gives the WF-1000XM4 an IPx4 rating, finally making them usable for sweaty workouts.
New to the WF-1000XM4 is the Integrated Processor V1, which combines Bluetooth connectivity with Sony’s QN1e chip for better noise cancellation with its two noise-sensing microphones per earbud, 6mm drivers, and bone conduction sensors. You also get Automatic Wind Noise Reduction to suppress wind noise.
Also new to the WF-1000XM4 is a Speak-to-Chat feature that lets you have conversations without taking out the earbuds by automatically pausing the music the moment you speak to someone, along with Adaptive Sound Control that intelligently adjusts ANC settings based on where you are and what you are doing.
In addition to the new hardware, the WF-1000XM4 makes use of memory foam tips that are made using polyurethane for a better overall seal and fit.
With the V1 processor, the WF-1000XM4 supports DSEE Extreme and is the first TWS earbuds to support LDAC for higher data transfer rates when streaming high bitrate music files.
