Xiaomi will launch the Redmi Pad in the Philippines this week, its first ever tablet. It features a large display, capable processor, large battery, and many more.
The Redmi Pad packs a 10.61-inch display offering a 2,000×1,200 pixels resolution, a 90Hz refresh rate, and 400 nits of peak brightness.
Under the hood, the tablet is powered by a MediaTek Helio G99 SoC, paired with up to 6GB of RAM. It comes with up to 128GB of UFS 2.2 storage, expandable up to 1TB via a microSD card slot.
In terms of optics, the tablet features an 8-megapixel camera on the back and an 8-megapixel front-facing camera for selfies and video chats.
For connectivity, it has Wi-Fi 5, Bluetooth v5.3, and a USB Type-C port. The tablet is fueled by an 8,000mAh battery that supports 18W fast charging.
Xiaomi Redmi Pad Price Philippines
The Xiaomi Redmi Pad in the Philippines has two variants: 4+128 GB with Php 13,999 price tag and 6+128 GB with Php 14,999 price tag. Both variants will be available starting October 29 on Shopee as well as Xiaomi stores nationwide.
The pricing does make sense, as it seems that Xiaomi wants to pit the Redmi Pad against the realme Pad X, which is Php 1k more expensive.
