HONOR silently announced a new entry-level offering globally with the X7b. While it boasts the same, huge 6000mAh battery that’s found on the X7a, the X7b switches to a Snapdragon 680 that’s more powerful than the Helio G37 used by its predecessor. The X7b has the potential to be a battery beast, as the Snapdragon 680 is known for its power efficiency. The X7b can be availed with up to 8GB RAM and up to 256GB storage.
The X7b also gets a bigger 6.8-inch IPS display with Full HD+ resolution and a 90hz refresh rate, while its triple rear camera setup consists of a 108-megapixel main camera, 5-megapixel ultra-wide camera, and 2-megapixel macro camera. The main camera is a notable upgrade and marks the first time an X7 series phone uses a 108-megapixel sensor. The selfie shooter is on the ordinary side with its use of an 8-megapixel sensor.
The large 6000mAh battery supports 35w charging, which should be fast enough to fill it up. The X7b comes with Android 13-based MagicOS 7.2 out of the box, along with a side-mounted fingerprint scanner.
The X7b is priced at $249(~Php 14k) and there’s no word when HONOR plans to bring this big-batteried budget phone to the Philippines.
