After an alleged packaging of the V30e was spotted a few weeks ago, vivo India confirms that the V30e is coming on April 2, and its latest batch of teasers confirms what was spotted.
This includes a completely new design that has a dual-tone finish and a circular camera module that houses two cameras and vivo’s Aura Light. The main camera is said to use a 50-megapixel IMX882 sensor, while the selfie camera is the same 50-megapixel sensor with autofocus that has been used in a number of V-series phones.
The V series are usually known for their slim bodies, and vivo India touts the V30e as the slimmest phone with a 5500mAh battery inside. They even claim that the V30e’s battery has a 4-year battery health, which is double the industry standard.
The teasers also confirm the curved AMOLED display, along with adjustable color temperature for the Aura Light and two color options.
Other rumored specs of the V30e include at least 8GB RAM, Android 14 out of the box, and a Snapdragon 6 Gen 1 processor, which will allow it to shoot 4K videos. We also expect an ultra-wide camera accompanying the main camera, along with a Full HD+ resolution for the curved AMOLED display.
