The Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) is partnering with the multinational tech company Google to give Filipinos an opportunity to digitally advance through free trainings.
Interested applicants are in for a treat as the program is totally free of charge. In addition, they will all receive a Google Career Certificate depending depending on the chosen area.
As posted by DTI on Facebook, applicants may choose one from the following offerings:
- Data Analytics
- User Experience (UX) Design
- Project Management
- IT Support/IT Automation

DTI Free Trainings
Even before this DTI x Google free trainings,  the local agency has long been providing learning and development opportunities, usually through its partnership with the Philippine Center for Entrepreneurship (PCE) and the Philippine Trade Training Center (PTTC).
Training programs provided through the PTTC focus on product and market trends, standards, restrictions, costing and pricing, distribution systems, and other trade-specific concepts.
The agency also has the Kapatid Mentor Me (KMME) Project that seeks to assist Micro and Small Enterprises (MSEs) through the provision of mentorship, shared service facilities, and inclusive business models.
