As a result, CES 2022 gave us the TP-Link AXE200 WiFi 6E Router, which received honoree status for innovation at the acclaimed tech event.
The AXE200 comes with the company’s usual suite of premium features that we’ll discuss in a bit, but the most eye-catching seems to be its motorized antennas. This router comes with 4 of them, automatically optimizing network service with connected devices. According to TP-Link’s press release, the device will do this for the user instead of the conventional manual adjusting of the antennas – redefining the work distribution of devices and users in these kinds of situations. That’s definitely a neat party trick.
As one of the company’s latest and greatest, the TP-Link router comes with WiFi 6E capabilities, extending its reach to the 6 GHz band. This transcends the capabilities of 2.4 and 5 GHz technologies we had recently, opening up the way for 8K live streaming and AR/VR use with its maximum speed of a blazing 10 Gbps according to its manufacturer.
To increase convenience, EasyMesh technology makes working with WiFi extenders or Mesh router setups more efficient. The fort is held down and kept secure by HomeShield as well, which defends from viruses, malware, and cyber threats.
