According to Engadget, Facebook is in discussions with big-name Hollywood studios and casting agencies for the purpose of producing original content to stream in their social network.
Facebook is apparently readying a whopping $3 million per episode for the big-ticket shows but is also prepping for multiple, smaller productions that can operate with less budget.
The company is reportedly aiming for a “late summer” debut for its original series, and is expected to be launching multiple titles, including a reality show dubbed “Last State Standing”. Welcome to Facebook TV, folks?
