LG Announces a New 49-inch Ultrawide Monitor with Dual QHD Display

LG just launched the 49WL95C, a 49-inch UltraWide monitor with a dual QHD display. This newest monitor from LG will surely give you all the space you need for multitasking.

This new monitor from LG is not just wide, but very wide. It’s a 32:9 Dual QHD (5120×1440) monitor with a doubled 27-inch 16:9 QHD pixel space in just one screen. It even has 70% more pixels compared to 32:9 FHD resolution (3840×1080).

With a massive screen like this, LG said you’ll save a lot of time by doing less “alt-tabbing.” This actually makes a lot of sense. Imagine being a content creator with a very wide screen like this, you can easily view thumbnails on a single screen without changing the current window. These little conveniences ultimately reduce the time spent in the image planning phase.

Another good thing about this monitor is that you can stack it vertically. This will give you the same screen space and clarity as four 27-inch QHD monitors with fewer cables and lesser bezels. Moreover, this monitor supports USB Type-C connectivity for high-speed data transfers. This monitor is also ergonomically designed to be easily adjustable.

Of course, as an UltraWide monitor from LG, this one isn’t complete without the quality we can only expect from the brand. To further improve the display, LG equipped this 49-inch UltraWide monitor with sensors that react to lights, making the screen brighter in bright environments and darker in low-light environments. It also has the latest HDR technology which enables viewers to enjoy the dramatic colors of the content according to LG.
