The Apple iPhone 14 lineup isn’t set to launch until September 7, but leaks are beginning to push through the cracks. Here we see alleged dummies of the Apple iPhone 14 Pro Max, in its five colors that may really make it to production.

Based on what we’re seeing in the photo, the expected mainstays of Graphite Black and Gold are present. This comes as no surprise since these are safe, elegant, and understated choices that most people would opt for. If our eyes are still functioning properly, then the leftmost option must be silver which is another mainstream option.

These three have always remained staples of the Apple device color selectors due to their uniformity with Apple as a brand. The next color we’re seeing is Blue, although it’s more of the dark hue found on the previous-generation iPhone 13 rather than the lighter Sierra Blue previous Max. It also gives off a classy navy glimmer, reminiscient of denim.

The one here that steals the show is the purple iPhone 14 Pro Max. We haven’t seen a purple iPhone since the 12, so this is a welcome reintroduction in the lineup should it be legitimate. However, much like the blue earlier, this is also a darker purple than what we’ve seen before. It would be much more appropriate to call it “Eggplant,” but we doubt Apple’s marketing team would be very pleased with that term.

Also disappearing is the captivating Alpine Green, which might upset some of its fans. We’re doubtful that the company has dropped such an interesting shade from their roster altogether.
