ASUS announced a unique GPU with the Dual RTX 4060Ti SSD. This is the first GPU to have an M.2 SSD slot, giving you additional storage options to your PC rig.
At thew core of the GPU is an RTX 4060Ti, which has 8GB of video RAM and support for NVIDIA’s DLSS 3.5 for frame generation and other AI-powered features. The Dual RTX 4060Ti SSD has a 2.5-slot design that uses a single 8-pin PCIe power connector for easier cable management and better compatibility with most PC builds.

The Dual RTX 4060Ti SSD’s party trick is its built-in M.2 slot that can accommodate 2280-sized NVMe drives. While the GPU supports PCIe 4.0, connecting a PCIe 5.0 compatible SSD to a compatible motherboard will give you PCIe 5.0 speeds, which is great for future proofing.
The unique approach of the Dual RTX 4060Ti SSD also makes good use of the GPU’s dual fans, which helps in managing the temps of the SSD drive–with ASUS claiming as much a 40% reduction in drive temps compared to conventional motherboard-mounted M.2 slots.
The ASUS Dual RTX 4060Ti SSD will be available in the Philippines on March 2024 with an official price of Php 29,850. That’s approximately a Php 9k price premium on the regular Dual RTX 4060Ti without the SSD slot. With that M.2 slot as its main selling point, this unique GPU is a great option for PC builders who needs an additional SSD slot that can support PCIe 5.0 in the future.
