There will be a Pro and Lite version, in addition to the regular Mate 10
As we get closer to the official unveiling of the Mate 10 on October 16, the specs for two variants have become official.
The Mate 10 Pro, codenamed Blanc, will sport a 5.99-inch Quad HD IPS display, and will have a Leica-branded dual rear camera setup, comprising a 20-megapixel primary sensor and 12-megapixel secondary sensor. It will also come with an 8-megapixel front camera, and is rated IP68.
As for the internals, the Mate 10 Pro will sport a Kirin 970 processor, with 6GB RAM and either a 64GB or 128GB internal storage. Powering the phone will be a 4000mAh battery, and will ship with Android Oreo out of the box.
The Mate 10 Lite, codenamed Alps, will sport a 5.88-inch display with a 2560 x 1440 resolution and will ship with 4GB RAM and 64GB internal storage. Like its bigger siblings, the Mate 10 Lite will use a Kirin 970 processor, a Leica-branded dual rear camera setup, and will come with Android Oreo out of the box.
The Mate 10 Lite will ship in October. While the Mate 10 Pro will ship in December.
