Lenovo-owned Motorola has announced two additional Moto mods to be used on their Moto Z and Moto Z Play today. The new mods consist of a new battery pack that has a better battery capacity than the original Incipio battery pack that first came out with the device as well as a car dock.

The new battery pack, made by Mophie, provides 3000mAh more juice to either the Moto Z or the Moto Z Play, which is more than the battery capacity of the original Incipio power pack that came out with the phones. The new battery pack also comes with its own USB Type-C port, which allows charging the pack without having to connect it to a phone.
Moto mods are add-on modules for the company’s Moto Z and Moto Z Play smartphones that add additional functionality to the device without complicated installation. Previous mods include a pocket projector, a Hassleblad-branded camera add-on as well as JBL speakers and a power pack.
Motorola has also pledged to release even more mods next year, and is targeting a release cycle of four new mods per quarter.
The car dock, on the other hand, attaches to your car via an airconditioning vent and connects to your audio system via a 3.5mm output. It charges your phone while connected, and automatically starts Android Auto for a safer driving experience. Motorola is pricing the Mophie Juice Pack at $79.99 (Php 3.9K) while the Incipio car dock will be $64.99, or Php 3.2K.
