Being one of the few brands that make phones with a built-in stylus these days, renders of the 2022 version of the Moto G Stylus have surfaced ahead of launch, revealing a familiar Motorola design with an updated camera module.
Based on renders shared by OnLeaks, the Moto G Stylus 2022 is expected to have a triple rear camera setup and a side-mounted fingerprint scanner, unlike its predecessor. The display will be the same as its predecessor at 6.81-inches and a centrally-placed punch-hole for the selfie camera.
Rumored specs for the Moto G Stylus 2022 include a 48-megapixel main rear camera, a built-in stylus, a 4500mAh or 5000mAh battery, a Snapdragon 480+ processor, and at least a 6GB/128GB variant. Looking through the rumored specs, the Moto G Stylus 2022 appears to be more of an incremental upgrade to the Moto G Stylus 5G that was announced last June.
The Moto G Stylus was priced at $400(~Php 20.1k) at launch, so the Moto G Stylus 2022 might adopt the same pricing or be slightly more affordable to be competitive. While having a good price is important, the Moto G Stylus 2022 will most likely be your next best alternative to a phone with a built-in stylus–especially since we still do not know if Samsung will continue the Galaxy Note line.
