The usual flagship killer comes with at least a 5000mAh battery, or something bigger like a 5500mAh cell. But what if you can push it to beyond 6000mAh without making the phone too bulky? That’s the standout feature of the OnePlus Ace 3 Pro, which is exclusive in China.
The brand’s new flagship killer has a huge 6100mAh Glacier Battery that’s more dense than what the competition usually offers. It supports 100w SuperVOOC S charging, which is a solid combo of both long battery life and fast charging speeds.
As a flagship killer, the Ace 3 Pro has a Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processor with up to 24GB LPDDR5X RAM and up to 1TB UFS 4.0 storage. You also get a flagship-grade 6.78-inch LTPO display with a 120hz variable refresh rate and 4500nits peak brightness.
It does scrimp a bit with the cameras though. While you get a 50-megapixel IMX890 for the main camera with OIS, the rest of the cameras are lackluster: an 8-megapixel ultra-wide camera and a 2-megapixel filler camera. As for the overall design, it is very similar to the OnePlus 12R, which is known as the Ace 3 in China.
The OnePlus Ace 3 Pro starts at CNY 3199(~Php 26k) for the 12GB/256GB model and tops out at CNY 4399(~Php 36k) for the 24GB/1TB model. It will go on sale in China on July 3, and there’s no word if this phone will be made available globally.
