With all the reports pointing to the return of the realme GT series to the global market, founder and CEO Sky Li has further confirmed in an interview with Forbes Magazine that the GT 6 is confirmed to launch in June in countries that include Italy, India, Indonesia, Spain, Thailand, Malaysia, Mexico, Philippines, Brazil, Poland, Turkey, Saudi Arabia, and more.
In the said interview, Li said that the return of the realme GT series to the global marker is “driven by the widespread global demand among realme users, emphasizing the tech company’s commitment to meeting user expectations.”
Aside from leveraging on performance, realme also wants to showcase its prowess on AI, with the GT 6 being positioned as the “New Flagship Killer Powered by AI”.
While realme has yet to reveal details about the GT 6, we expect it to be a more powerful version of the GT 6T that was made exclusive to India. Speculated to be based on the China-only GT Neo6, the GT 6 is expected to use a Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 processor that can be paired with as much as 1TB storage and 16GB RAM, along with 120w charging for its 5500mAh battery.Â
The GT 6 is also expected to get 50-megapixel IMX886 main camera with OIS, along with a 6.78-inch 120hz LTPO AMOLED display, an IP65 rating, stereo speakers, and Android 14-based realme UI 5.0.
