In time for the Chinese New Year, SteelSeries audio line Arctis unveiled their limited edition Dragon Nova 7 gaming headset. Making it special is its design that mixes both Chinese and Taiwanese heritage, showcasing the cultire and traditions of family gatherings, festivals, and celebrities for the 2024 Lunar New Year.
Looking close at its design, the Dragon icon has been sculpted with softer edges, with its body wrapping around the Chinese character for ‘dragon’, sitting atop a stack of lucky clouds (xiángyún). The ear cups have a circular version of the Chinese character for good fortune (Fú), while the headband takes the shape of a dragon’s scales. Completing the look is a deep red colorway that’s associated with prosperity, and gold accents to symbolize money and fortune.
Key features of the Arctis Nova 7 is Nova Acoustic System, which is both a hardware and software solution to deliver stellar audio to gamers. The speaker drivers have a custom desgn that deliver 360-degree spatial audio and a pro-grade parametric EQ controls through SteelSeries’ Sonar Audio Software Suite.
The Arctis Nova 7 wireless audio capabilities allows it to support two simultaneous streams via 2.4Ghz and Bluetooth, allowing seamless wireless audio between between PC, Mac, PlayStation, Nintendo Switch, iPhone, Android, and mobile devices with a USB-C. You also get ClearCast Gen 2’s AI-powered noise cancelation for better-quality voice calls and a bidirectional mic that uses the same technology used by Formula 1 teams. The mic also has a unique design that blends seamlessly into the earcup when not in use.
The SteelSeries Dragon Arctis Nova 7 will be available for pre-order at select retailers and e-tailers in the Philippines until February 15 for Php 11,995.
