The AMD Radeon RX 7600 Aims to Rival NVIDIA’s RTX 4060

Not long after NVIDIA announced its most affordable RTX 40-series GPU with the RTX 4060, AMD wants to match its offering with the Radeon RX 7600, which is slightly more affordable at $269(~Php 15.1k). In fact, the RX 7600 is priced lower than the RX 6600 at launch.

As the most affordable GPU under the RDNA3-based 7000 series, the RX 7600 has 1/3 of the compute units and ray accelerators of the RX 7900 XTX at just 32, and the same goes for the stream processors at 2048), texture units at 128, Infinity Cache at 32MB, and video memory at just 8GB of GDDR6 memory.

In terms of clock speed, the RX 7600 has a base frequency of 2250 MHz and a boost frequency of 2655 MHz. As for its video memory, it is clocked at 18Gbps but only has a 128-bit memory bus, giving it a 288GB/s

With those technical specs, AMD claims that the RX 7600 is 29% better than the previous-generation RX 6600 and 34% better than the 8GB RTX 3060 at 1080p.

While the RX 7600 does have HDMI 2.1 and DisplayPort 2.1, it does not have a USB-C port. It has a total board power of 165w–which is almost 200w less than the RX 7900 XTX–and uses a single 8-pin connector.

The Radeon RX 7600 will be available directly from AMD on AMD.com as well as from partners like ASRock, ASUS, Biostar, Gigabyte, MSI, Sapphire, PowerColor, Vastarmor, XFX, and Yeston starting May 25.
