In its push for making the metaverse more known to Filipinos, MetaverseGo partnered with SM Megamall to unveil its first 3D billboard that presents a unique 3D Christmas-themed video show that can be enjoyed every 15 minutes from 6pm to 10pm until January 6, 2023. The video features Santa Claus and helpers Astro and Metmet as they ride across the metaverse.
One of the highlights of the 3D video show is the unveiling of the Astro NFT, which is the first NFT in the Philippines to be released by a mall branch. Both MetaverseGo and SM Megamall are excited about this partnership, as it allows the latter’s patrons to own their first NFT that they can easily add to their collection.
“The Astro NFT is an art collectible with an actual utility, to top it off, redemption is free.” MetaverseGo Co-founder and Chief Business Development Officer Jake San Diego said.
Aside from being free to obtain, the Astro NFT can be easily redeemed by scanning the QR code that’s placed across establishments within SM Megamall. Those who have the Astro NFT are entitled to a free spin per scan per unique establishment that entitles them to win gift certificates from Uniqlo, The Moment Group, Slimmer’s World, Plains and Prints, and Crocs. They are also entitled to a free 1-day Game Pass which they can use to play within the MetaverseGo app.
