If you thought that Pacquiao vs Mayweather in 2015 was the fight of the century, then think again. Silicon Valley’s about to be shaken up by an all-out war between two goliaths: legendary Facebook founder Mark Zuckerberg and entrepreneur-visionary Elon Musk. Will this cage match be a fight to remember?
This originally started when Zuckerberg introduced Threads, a text-based social application set to take on Twitter. As you may already know, Musk took over Twitter in recent months and has been mired in controversy ever since. There are reports at Meta that they’re all advocating for a version of Twitter that is “sanely run,” a knock against Musk’s management.
Eventually, tensions boiled over and Elon ended up tweeting “I’m up for a cage match if he is lol,” which was met by Zuckerberg’s “Send Me Location” Instagram story. Musk responded with a Tweet saying “Vegas Octagon,” referring to the UFC Octagon in Las Vegas.
And there we have it folks, a possible fight between Elon Musk and Mark Zuckerberg. Right now, all Musk has going for him is size – Zuckerberg has won Brazilian Jiu-jitsu tournaments in the past and has even earned high praise from his instructors. One thing’s for sure: he’s no lightweight.
As of now, Musk’s gameplan is still under wraps. Although he jokingly posted on his Twitter the following words: “I have this great move that I call ‘The Walrus’, where I just lie on top of my opponent & do nothing.”
Will this fight between Elon Musk and Mark Zuckerberg actually happen? We’re looking forward to it!
