The Infinix Zero 5G could very well be launching tomorrow, according to Twitter. It’s a milestone for the brand as it is set to be its first 5G-capable device. However, there seems to be more than meets the eye as the team behind the device claims that it’s the “fastest 5G phone in-segment.” We’ve rounded up everything we know so far if you’re interested in snagging one of these.

According to reports across the industry, the Infinix Zero 5G will be rocking a 6.67-inch Super AMOLED display upfront, which is a treat for those who want vivid colors. Things will be kept smooth by its 120Hz refresh rate. Powering everything is the heart of the device – a MediaTek Dimensity 900 processor with LPDDR5 RAM and UFS 3.1 storage for quick multitasking.

The rear will sport a 40-megapixel main shooter, while the front camera has a 16-megapixel count. Keeping the lights on is a 5000 mAh battery with 33W fast wired charging onboard as well. If the rumors are true, then a 3.5mm headphone jack could also find its way onto the device during production. Talk about nostalgia.

Giving credibility to its speed claims is its capability to connect to 13 5G bands, which could potentially lead to a quicker online experience. On the software side of things, XOS 10 (based on Android 11) is likely to be making an appearance.

Pricing and availability in the Philippines for the Infinix Zero 5G have both yet to be confirmed. As of now though, it has its own official Flipkart page. Considering that the Dimensity 900 is a chipset in the midrange, we could be expecting competitive pricing against devices equipped with Snapdragon 600 or 700-series chipsets. We’ll have to wait and see for the reveal tomorrow.
