A few months ago, LG launched its first wearable air purifier in the Philippines called the LG PuriCare. The company later updated it with a built-in microphone and speakers to make talking easier. The new model, dubbed the LG PuriCare with VoiceON, has finally arrived in the Philippines, with a similar price tag.
The newest version of the LG PuriCare still features the same two H13 HEPA filters along with the Dual Fans and the patented Respiratory Sensor. This respiratory sensor can automatically control airflow by sensing the user’s natural breathing patterns, making breathing as comfortable as possible.
As the name implies, it now has the VoiceON technology from LG. This feature allows users to speak in their usual tone without having to remove the mask. This is made possible by a built-in microphone and speaker that amplifies the user’s voice to retain audibility during a conversation.
Moreover, the new design is more lightweight, weighing in at only 94G. This is because there’s a new motor inside, which LG claims to be more efficient and compact. LG also replaced the previous 820mAh battery with a bigger 1,000maH battery that’s capable of 8-hour non-stop use in low setting mode. Charging this battery to full power only takes 2 hours.
As for the design, the new LG PuriCare wearable air purifier features a new and more ergonomic design that helps reduce air leakage around the nose and chin area without discomfort.Â
The LG PuriCare Wearable Air Purifier Mask with VoiceON has a price tag of Php 9,799 in the Philippines. It is available at Abenson and Electroworld branches nationwide. It is also available on Shopee and Lazada where it is currently on sale at only Php 8,998. All the replaceable parts of the LG PuriCare are also available in the said stores.
