Internals: The Y69 has the upper edge
All three phones technically have the same processor performance wise, so the game here is with the configuration. That said, the Y69 wins having 3GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage. The A71 comes close—if not for its measly 16GB internal storage.
Battery: The J7 Core scores for having a removable battery
All three models sport a 3000mAh battery, but the J7 Core gets a considerable advantage as it comes with a removable battery, unlike the Y69 and A71. Sure you may lose the sleekness of a unibody design, but a removable battery means replacing it is much easier and less of a hassle.
Camera: It’s a strong game with the Y69
You can’t deny how strong is the Y69 in this category, especially with its Perfect Selfie-levels 16-megapixel front camera. An added bonus with the Y69 is its additional camera features like Live Photo (for both front and rear cameras), and group selfie and bokeh mode (for the front camera).
Display: A matter of personal preference
While all three models sport an HD display, I personally prefer the vibrant colors associated with AMOLED displays, though the A71 has a vibrant display in spite of using an IPS panel.
Verdict: The A71 offers the best bang for the buck
On paper, the Y69 offers the best specs among the three. However, the pricing of the Y69 (which is at Php 10990) is a bit high for an entry-level phone. That being said, the A71 offers the best bang for the buck, given its price and the specs it has to offer. You may not have a fingerprint scanner or a Perfect Selfie camera, but the A71 offers what budget-minded buyers will look for: A phone that is not too expensive, but does not compromise in terms of specs.
