The Moto Z line lives on
Contrary to speculation that Motorola is killing off the Moto Z line, specs of the upcoming Moto Z Play was spotted in FCC.
The listing which identifies the Moto Z3 Play having the model number XT1929, will sport a Snapdragon 636 processor, 4GB RAM, 32GB/64GB internal storage, and a 3000mAh battery. The display will be a 6.1-inch Full HD+ display with an 18:9 screen ratio. Because of the increased screen size, the fingerprint scanner is now on the side, which is a first for Motorola.
For the cameras, the Moto Z3 Play will have a 12-megapixel and 8-megapixel rear cameras, along with an 8-megapixel front camera.
Pricing for the Moto Z3 Play is speculated to be between $450 to $500, which translates to roughly Php 23k to Php 26k. If the pricing is confirmed to be true, this makes the Moto Z3 Play relatively expensive considering other Snapdragon 636-powered phones like Xiaomi’s Redmi Note 5Â and Meizu’s E3Â are priced below Php 15k.
