New Honor Magic 2 Photos Confirm Sliding Mechanism, Full Screen Display

The back design looks very familiar as well

As we wait for the October 31 unveiling of the Honor Magic 2, more photos of Honor’s flagship device has surfaced. From the photos, it is confirmed that the Honor Magic 2 will have a 6.4-inch Full HD+ AMOLED display, along with a slide-up mechanism that reveals the earpiece, 16-megapixel front camera, and two TOF lenses for 3D face unlock.

As for the rear, the Honor Magic 2 borrows design cues from Huawei’s P20 Pro, which means it will have a triple rear camera setup and a curved glass back. What makes it different from the P20 Pro’s design is that the LED flash is now housed in the main camera module.

The P20 Pro’s rear cameras for reference.

No word at the roles of the triple rear camera, but we know they will consist of 16-megapixel, 24-megapixel, and 16-megapixel. The absence of a fingerprint sensor fuels speculation that the Honor Magic 2 will go for an in-display fingerprint scanner like the Mate 20 Pro.

Being a flagship phone, the Honor Magic 2 is expected to use a Kirin 980 processor, along with 40W Honor Magic Charge, 3400mAh battery, and dual-band GPS.
