If you’re wondering why you haven’t received the Android Nougat update on your ASUS Zenfone 3, well that’s because the Taiwanese company has put the update on hold. The reason? Apparently, they have to work out a few kinks before the update pushes through; making us think that Nougat isn’t making nice with our arch-nemesis, ZenUI. Confirmation that the update was indeed on hold was posted as a reply to one of their curious customers on their Facebook page (See the photo below).
No word on when we can expect the update to push through. The only comfort ASUS can suggest for now is to turn on Automatic Updates on your device, so you know immediately get Nougat once it’s ready.
