OnePlus updates its Nord CE line with the unveiling of the CE4 in India. The main upgrade here is the use of a Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 processor, which promises significantly better performance over the Nord CE3‘s Snapdragon 782G. While RAM is capped at 8GB and only uses the LPDDR4X variety, the Nord CE4 gets up to 256GB of UFS 3.1 storage. You also get a bigger 5500mAh battery that supports 100w charging.

The Nord CE4’s display is the same as its predecessor–it’s the familiar 6.7-inch 120hz AMOLED panel with a Full HD+ resolution and support for 10-bit color and HDR10 content. The selfie shooter remains the same at 16-megapixels.

For its dual rear camera setup, the Nord CE4 uses the same 8-megapixel IMX355 sensor for the ultra-wide camera, while the main camera is now a 50-megapixel LYT600 with OIS. OnePlus promises better image processing on the Nord CE4, but did not specify the improvements made. 

Aside from an IP54 rating, OnePlus said that they added internal cushioning on the Nord CE4 to make it survive drops better. You get OxygenOS 14 out of the box, and OnePlus promises 2 major updates and 3 years of security updates.

• 8GB/128GB – Rs 24,999(~Php 17k)
• 8GB/256GB – Rs 26,999(~Php 19k)

Official sales for the Nord CE4 will begin on April 4 in India, and OnePlus has yet to give details if they will bring this to the Philippines.
