Aside from the Y36, vivo is also bringing a new budget phone to the Philippines with the Y02t. With looks that appear to be similar to the Y02, this budget phone gets a Helio P35 chip that’s also found on the Y02s, but will have 4GB RAM and 64GB internal storage–with the latter expandable up to 1TB via MicroSD.
Featuring a thickness of 8.49mm, the Y02t packs a 5000mAh battery inside and supports 10w wired and 5w reverse wired charging. According to vivo’s listing on the Y02t, you are getting a 6.51-inch HD+ display with a notch for a 5-megapixel selfie camera, along with an 8-megapixel rear camera that’s housed on a circular camera module in the back. On the software side, the Y02t comes with Android 13-based FunTouchOS 13.
The Y02t will be available in Cosmic Grey, Sunset Gold, and Orchid Blue, and its back panel is allegedly made in a new nano-grade material spray coating process that gives the surface a matte appearance but is smooth to hold.
vivo has yet to reveal the official price and availability of the Y02t in the Philippines, but we expect it to have an under Php 6k price tag–for reference, the regular Y02 is priced at under Php 5k.
