Xiaomi 14, 14 Ultra Make MWC 2024 Debut

Xiaomi kicks off the global release of its 14 series at MWC 2024 with the standard 14 and the recently-announced 14 Ultra. Confirming previous rumors, the 14 Pro is not making its way out of China. While we’re not sure if the 14 Ultra is making its way to the Philippines, the standard 14 will arrive in the country soon.

Both flagship devices come with a Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processor, along with Leica-branded optics. The standard 14 is a compact flagship with its 6.36-inch display, but boasts a packed camera setup that consists of 50-megapixel cameras: a f/1.6 main camera, a f/2.2 ultra-wide camera, and a telephoto camera with 3.2x optical zoom.

The Xiaomi 14 Ultra retains the same beastly quad 50-megapixel camera of its predecessor, but the main camera uses a new LYT-900 sensor and an updated f/1.63-4.0 aperture and the periscope camera uses a brighter f/2.5 aperture.

While the standard 14 has a 4610mAh battery and the 14 Ultra has a bigger 5300mAh cell, both support 90w charging. Both phones also have a 32-megapixel selfie camera, and Xiaomi finally heeded to everyone’s request by adding support for 4K selfie video recording.

Here’s the European pricing of the Xiaomi 14 series:

  • Xiaomi 14 (12GB/512GB) – 999 Euros(~Php 61k)
  • Xiaomi 14 (12GB/512GB) – 1099 Euros(~Php 67k)
  • Xiaomi 14 Ultra (16GB/512GB) – 1499 Euros(~Php 91k)

The Xiaomi 14 will launch in the Philippines on February 29, so stay tuned for official pricing and pre-order details.
