Heads up to all BDO online banking users: if you use an iOS device, use the new BDO Online app, as the bank will be retiring its old BDO Digital Banking app by March 12.
The BDO Online app has been out for several months already, so we expect most–if not all–users to use it already on their iOS devices. Some of the new features of the BDO Online app include a more streamlined interface where users can organize all of their BDO accounts in the app, secure logins using a 6-digit PIN or biometrics, and easy money transfers to andy BDO accounts or through other banks or wallets with InstaPay.
Those who may encounter any login issues with the BDO Online app are advised to use the “Need Help Logging In” feature and set a new password. As an alternate solution to accessing their accounts online, users can also visit the BDO Online Banking website as well.
As of writing this article, the BDO Online Banking app is no longer listed in the Apple App Store but is still available for download at the Google Play Store. However, we expect BDO to retire the Android version of its Online Banking app soon.
