Huawei is expanding its IT product coverage with the launch of their MateView GT gaming monitor in the Philippines on July 06.
The MateView GT is the brand’s flagship gaming monitor that features a large, 21:9 34-inch curved display with a 3440×1440 resolution.
The new monitor is as feature-packed as other offerings in the space – it has a fast, 165Hz refresh rate, DCI-P3 color space coverage, and Huawei is advertising that the monitor is pre-calibrated from the factory to have a Delta E value of <2.
The MateView GT also supports a peak brightness of 350 nits, and comes decked out with HDR10 as well.
The monitor comes with a soundbar at the bottom that sports RGB LEDs, as well as dual 5W speakers Interestingly the soundbar also comes with integral dual microphones that Huawei says, can pick up your voice from 4 meters away, and uses AI technology to enhance and eliminate background noise for crystal clear audio when communicating with your teammates or your colleagues when you’re in a Zoom call.

Huawei hasn’t announced a price for the MateView GT as of yet, though in China its priced at RMB 3,599 or Php 27K.
