inDrive Resume Operations, Partners with Laban TNVS

After being suspended by the LTFRB last January, ride-hailing service inDrive announced in a presscon held today (June 28) that they will officially resume operations. The LTFRB lifted its cease and desist order against inDrive last June 04. You can check the order below:

Aside from announcing that it will resume operations, inDrive also announced a strategic partnership with Laban TNVS to ensure Filipinos have access to fair, more affordable, and safe transportation options. Laban TNVS is a local group that advocates for regulating commission rates for ride-hailing apps.

“Filipinos need more options for ride-hailing services as much as drivers need more sources of income. We believe that our app and this partnership will significantly bridge the gaps in the industry,” inDrive APAC Business Development Manager Afanasii Petrov said.

With this partnership, inDrive and Laban TNVS aim to open more income opportunities to Filipino drivers. inDrive will provide its services free of charge to its members during its first two to six months of operations and will implement a 10% service charge to all its transactions after the said period.

“Our members will benefit from the partnership, especially since inDrive has the lowest service charge in the market. Now, our partner drivers can take home more of their earnings to their families,” Laban TNVS President Jun De Leon said.
