It has been roughly 5 months since realme unveiled the 12 Pro series, with the 12 Pro+ standing out as a rare mid-range phone to have a periscope camera. realme is getting ready for the 13 Pro series, and it teased it as the “First Professional AI camera.”
The teaser image reveals a circular module that’s similar to the one on the realme 12 Pro+, but has “Hyperimage+” branding at the bottom and what appears to be the periscope camera. You still get some of the realme 12 Pro series’ design language, including a knurled bezel on the camera model. However, it seems that realme will not offer the 13 Pro series with a vegan leather back option based on the teaser image.
Little is known about the upcoming mid-range phones so far, but it recently received a certification with the model number RMX3989. Aside from the model number, the realme 13 Pro+ will reportedly get a Snapdragon 7s Gen 3 processor and an upgraded periscope camera that uses a 50-megapixel IMX882 sensor. Some listings reveal that the realme 13 Pro+ will get a slightly bigger 5050mAh battery and possibly 80w wired charging.
There’s no date as to when the realme 13 Pro series will launch, but the 11 series launched in the Philippines in August last year.
