After it became official a few weeks ago, the vivo Y28 is now available in the Philippines with a starting price of Php 8k for the 128GB variant.
What makes the Y28 unique is that it’s a relatively slim phone with a huge 6000mAh battery inside. Aside from having a long battery life, the Y28 has support for 44w charging, making it a good combination on an entry-level device. The Y28 also has an IP64 rating, which is among the best in the under Php 10k segment, along with a Dynamic Light in the back for notifications, calls, and for grooving along with music.
To recap, the Y28 is powered by a Helio G85 processor that’s paired with 8GB LPDDR4X RAM and 256GB UFS 2.2 storage, while its display is a 6.68-inch 90hz IPS panel with a peak brightness of 1000nits. Other features of the Y28 include a side-mounted fingerprint scanner, a 50-megapixel main camera, stereo speakers, an 8-megapixel selfie camera, and Android 14-based FunTouchOS 14 out-of-the-box.
The vivo Y28 has an official price of Php 7,999 for the 128GB variant and Php 9,999 for the 256GB variant. They are available at official vivo Stores nationwide and online in Lazada and Shopee.
