Finally, a new PvZ game after a while
Seven years after Plants Vs. Zombies 2, the popular arcade game is back this year for a new installment. Keeping its classic gameplay, where you defend your town from ravaging zombies using plants, Plants Vs. Zombies 3 introduces new zombie bosses, along with a social aspect where you can connect with friends to share seeds and strategies, and compete for special prizes.
Making it different from the first and second installments are some elements in the game, like how energy is collected. Aside from collecting through Sunflowers, the game provides for different ways to collect energy in order to create new plants and improve your line of defense.
One of the biggest changes with Plants Vs. Zombies 3 is that the game is now in portrait mode instead of a landscape orientation like the previous installments, along with all-new 3D graphics. The former is meant to make the game more playable with one hand, while the latter is more for visual enhancements.
Plants vs. Zombies 3 is currently on soft launch, with the Philippines being the first country to try it out. You can download it via Google Play or Apple App Store.
