Out of the competent pickup trucks in the market today, the Toyota Hilux was chosen by the Philippine National Police (PNP) due to its durability and reliability. To make it more fitting for the job as a personnel carrier, Toyota gave the Hilux a major conversion. According to Toyota, “the country’s top-selling pickup is sure to deliver high-quality performance to best assist our men and women in uniform in their mobility needs and in promoting safety, contributing to the overall goal of helping build the nation.”
