Meet the new BlackBerry Curve 9380!

Alongside the BlackBerry Bold 9790, RIM also announced the new BlackBerry Curve 9380 here at Jakarta, Indonesia! The BlackBerry Curve 9380 is the first model in the Curve series that’s full-touchscreen. Yes, you read that right! No QWERTY keypads. The new Curve 9380 has a 3.2″ capacitive touchscreen with 360×480 resolution (188 dpi). It’s slightly bigger than the Samsung Galaxy Y.

There are no prices yet or any information on availability. A RIM executive said though that they’re trying their best to get this to market ASAP especially with the holiday season just around the corner.

I’m looking forward to the Curve 9380 hitting the PH, hopefully with a competitive price. The Curve 9380 can definitely appeal to the youth and that’s something that RIM needs at this time.
