Will the realme GT Neo6 SE Go Global?

It has been a while since the last time a realme GT series has gone global. The last one that launched in the Philippines was the GT Neo 3, and that was back in 2022. While realme founder and CEO Sky Li said that the GT series will be made available globally once again this year, we wonder what GT model will it be. One possible candidate might be the GT Neo6 SE, which was announced in China last April 11.

Aside from having a Snapdragon 7+ Gen 3 processor and 100w SuperVOOC charging, the GT Neo6 SE’s bragging rights is its display, where the 6.78-inch 120hz curved AMOLED display can hit up to 6000nits in peak brightness when viewing HDR content (actual maximum brightness is at 1000nits). The display has other bells and whistles that include an in-display fingerprint scanner, 32-megapixel selfie shooter in the punch-hole, 2160hz PWM dimming, and Gorilla Glass Victus 2 protection.

Going to its rear cameras, the GT Neo6 SE has a 50-megapixel IMX882 main sensor with OIS and an 8-megapixel ultra-wide camera. Keeping the lights on is a larger-than-usual 5500mAh battery, and it gets an IP65 rating for water and dust resistance. Other features include stereo speakers and Android 14-based realmeUI 5.0 out of the box.

Here’s the official pricing of the realme GT Neo6 SE in China:

  • 8GB/256GB: CNY 1,799 (~Php 13k)
  • 12GB/256GB: CNY 1,999 (~Php 16k)
  • 16GB/256GB: CNY 2,199 (~Php 18k)
  • 16GB/512GB: CNY 2,499 (~Php 20k)

The GT Neo6 SE will be available in China on April 17, and we’re waiting if this is the GT phone that realme will unveil for global markets.
