When it comes to fun accessories for Galaxy devices, the Samsung and Pokemon collabs are often exclusive to Korea, making them draw hype even if most of these accessories are cases for the Korean brand’s TWS earbuds. Samsung sees the demand for these Pokemon accessories globally, which is why is it is bringing some of them to Europe starting with Spain.
For its exclusive Europe release, Samsung will be releasing a collection of PokeBall-themed cases for its Galaxy Buds line: Buds2 Pro, Buds Pro, Buds2, Buds Live and Buds FE. Making the European release unique over the initial Korea exclusive (which is also available in the US as well) is that you can choose between the Great Ball, Ultra Ball, and Master Ball variants, which should make Pokemon fans more excited for the variety.
Aside from their unique designs that will captivate any Pokemon fan, all three cases are made with recycled materials, as Samsung also wants to stay committed to good sustainability practices.
Being officially licensed products, these Pokeball cases don’t come cheap: they have a suggested retail price of 39.91 Euros, or around Php 2.5k. That makes these Pokemon-themed cases more expensive than the asking price for the regular Pokeball case in the US, which is priced at $39.99 or around Php 2.3k converted.
Samsung is expected to make these cases available in other parts of Europe, and it remains to be seen if the brand will make them available to other countries like in Asia.
