OPPO’s A-series is usually associated as the brand’s budget offerings, while the Reno series serves as its midrange offering. However, OPPO might blur the line between the two, as it will unveil the A1 Pro on November 16 in China.
Despite being an A-series model, it seems that the A1 Pro is more of a mid-range offering, as it boasts a curved OLED display with 120hz refresh rate and 2160Hz PWM dimming–qualities that you’d expect on a premium phone. The display in question is said to have a 56-degree curvature and boasts a razor-thin 2.32mm chin.
The teaser for the A1 Pro also reveals a two-circle camera module design that has two cameras. One of them is confirmed to be a 108-megapixel camera, and we presume that the second camera is a 2-megapixel depth sensor. The design looks similar to OPPO’s A17–but again, this is our first time to see OPPO put a curved display on an A-series device.
Interestingly, the phone looks similar to what was listed in TENAA as PHQ110 and said to be the A98. In that listing, the phone has a Snapdragon 695, up to 12GB RAM, up to 512GB storage, and a 5000mAh battery with 67w charging.
We don’t know much about the A1 Pro for now, but we expect OPPO to reveal more details about it when they will unveil it in China on November 16.
