After teasing the Y27s as its first release for 2024 in the Philippines, vivo revealed that its official price will be Php 9,999 for the 8GB/256GB variant. While that is around Php 2k higher than the new price of the Y27, you are getting a number of upgrades with the Y27s beyond the added RAM and internal storage.
The Y27s’ display now features a modern punch-hole design to make it go along with current design trends, and has a brighter display than the Y27 as well–and still keeps the 90hz refresh rate and Full HD+ resolution. You also get a Snapdragon 680 processor on the Y27s, which is better than the Y27’s Helio G85 especially if you prioritize battery life.Â
Like the Y27, the Y27s has a 5000mAh battery that supports 44w charging, a side-mounted fingerprint scanner, IP54 rating, and a 50-megapixel main camera that’s supported by a 2-megapixel depth sensor.
As for color options, the Y27s comes in a new Garden Green colorway that has a refreshing nature-inspired hue. You can also get the Y27s in Burgundy Black, which is a colorway we love on the Y27 for its textured finish and gold accents on the camera module.
