The Mi A2 will have a more affordable sibling
While the Mi A2 will be launching sometime this month, it turns out that it will be accompanied by a more affordable version called the Mi A2 Lite.
Spotted in a Polish website listing, the Mi A2 has a smaller 5.84-inch Full HD+ display and comes with a Snapdragon 625 processor, 4GB RAM, and 64GB internal storage—the same internals found on the Mi A1. It also has dual rear cameras but settles for a 12-megapixel and 5-megapixel setup instead.
What makes the Mi A2 Lite interesting is that it comes with a generous 4000mAh battery—1000mAh more compared to the Mi A2.
As for pricing, the Mi A2 Lite is priced at $283(~Php 15.2k). The same also revealed pricing for the Mi A2: $350(~Php 18.8k) for the 4GB/32GB model, $377(~Php 20.2k) for the 4GB/64GB model, and $430(~Php 23k) for the 6GB/128GB model. Since this is based on European pricing, we expect the Mi A2 series to be cheaper in Asian markets.
