Cherry and EARIST Sign MOA for Educational Assistance Program

Cherry Cares by MSN Foundation, Inc., the Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) arm of CHERRY, signed a Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) with the Eulogio “Amang” Rodriguez Institute of Science and Technology (EARIST) on May 30, for the CherrySkwela Educational Assistance Program.

The program aims to provide scholarship grants, internship and job opportunities, customized learning opportunities, case management, and youth organizing to students of various universities. The partnership with EARIST will have Cherry sponsor 10 undergraduates from the institution, where they will undergo a selection and review process to determine their eligibility for receiving support from the program.

“Each student deserves access to and resources for excellent quality education. Through our partnership, CHERRY Cares continues to actively advocate for their rights and offers valuable academic support,” Cherry Philippines PR-CSR Head Agnes Conopio said.

The MOA signing also paves an opportunity for students of EARIST to be supported in their academic needs and fulfillment, aligning with Cherry Cares’ lifelong core and values. This partnership also extends work opportunities for them to be a part of the growing Cherry Philippines family, as they commit to improving the lives of every Filipino household through a smart way of living.

“Together with CHERRY Philippines, we are creating opportunities for bright minds to flourish and achieve their academic aspirations. Hence, this collaboration truly exemplifies the spirit of community and dedication to education,” EARIST University President Dr. Rogelio Mamaradlo adds.
