GCash and Heart Introduce a New Era of Financial Progress

As it continues to pave the way for giving financial inclusion for all Filipinos, GCash enters its era of financial progress with tapping Heart Evangelista-Escudero as its endorser.

The partnership kicked off last February 7 with the live filming of the first episode of GCash Spotlight featuring Heart and Boy Abunda as host. Set to be published at GCash’s YouTube account this month, the episode’s theme is inspired by Heart’s vlog series on adulting. During the filming of the GCash Spotlight episode, Heart shared how GCash helped with her everyday work and life.

Heart also detailed on how she used GCash to save, spend, and invest better through the FinTech platform’s variety of features. “Whether it’s managing my everyday expenses or seeking out the best deals, GCash has played a really big role in that. For me, GCash is the best way to pay, because of the ease and convenience it offers for every kind of situation,” Heart shared during the live interview.

Some of the GCash features that Heart appreciates include the app’s Scan-to-Pay feature and the ability to use GCash abroad and enjoy benefits like low ForEx and no surprise charges.

Aside from those features, Heart also highlighted the different ways that one can invest through GCash: with GSave, where one can earn up to 6.5% p.a. interest with their savings account that’s powered by Unobank, and GStocks for doing online stock trading through the app thanks to AB Capital Securities’ online retail securities trading services.

Beyond those features, Heart also mentioned using GInsure Travel Insurance–which is powered by Malayan and Standard Insurance–for her travels, where in under 5 minutes and for as low as Php 350, users can have worry-free travel experiences and be covered for up to Php 2.5 million on flights, luggage, and emergencies.

“GCash is deeply committed to bringing every Filipino closer towards their goal of financial progress. We’re excited to share even more innovative solutions this year to help achieve that,” GCash CMO Neil Trinidad said.
