We’ve been quite excited for the Google Pixel 7a and Pixel Fold for awhile now. After all, the former’s predecessor, the 6a, did so well and gained worldwide recognition as an awesome device. Meanwhile, we can’t wait but look forward to how the giant tech company will innovate on the foldable form factor in its first release. Here are the leaked price details for the Pixel 7a and Fold.

Let’s get started with the midrange device. The Google Pixel 7a is pegged to come with the same second-generation Tensor chip as the vanilla Pixel 7 lineup. We can imagine that the form factor will be more or less the same, with a 6.1-inch FHD+ OLED HDR display at its front. Unlike its predecessor though, this one might just come with a 90Hz refresh rate instead of a standard 60Hz one. Come on Google, it’s 2023!

We can also expect mild improvements to the camera system – not that the 6a’s was bad by any means. It was even the phone’s claim to fame after it won an online blind camera challenge.

The estimated price for the Pixel 7a is set to be around $499 USD (PHP 28K) in four colorways named Charcoal, Snow, Sea, and Coral. The final one could likely be a Google Store exclusive.

Moving on to the Google Pixel Fold, rumors speculate an aesthetic very close to the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold4. The phone is likely to make of a reinforced ceramic material to give off a premium feel, with a next-gen Tensor G3 chipset as its beating heart. It’s also projected to come with a Samsung-made display with an internal display of 1840×2208 resolution and a peak brightness of 1200 nits. Not much is known about the outer display yet.

Other speculations also point to a triple-camera outer setup. The primary sensor is allegedly the Sony IMX787, a stellar sensor still not found on many devices nowadays. It will reportedly be backed up by an IMX386 ultrawide lens and a Samsung S5K3J1 telephoto lens. The inner display could sport an IMX355 sensor, while the outer display will get an S5K3J1 telephoto selfie.

For all of these, the Google Pixel Fold is likely to cost within the ballpark of $1799 USD (PHP 101.2K). According to industry sources, preorders and sales for both these devices should begin on the 10th of May, although we should be able to have more definitive evidence as the date draws nearer.
