You heard it here – the Land Transportation Office, or LTO, is offering FREE courses for student drivers. We see driving as one of those life skills that would be nice to have even if you’re not planning to ferry yourself around the city often. Whether for emergencies or unforeseen events, or just to have another valid ID, a driver’s license is a nice thing to have. So when and where are these courses?
Firstly, the LTO free courses are offered within the National Capital Region (NCR). These will be 15-hour theoretical driving courses in order to obtain a student permit before moving on to a non-professional or professional driver’s license. It should teach all the basics such as common dashboard instruments, car knowledge, road sign awareness, laws, rules, common road courtesy, and other things to keep you safe on your journeys.
These are split into two-day sessions from 8AM to 5PM per day. It’s being held at the LTO-NCR West Regional Office Driver’s Education Center.
Here are the dates for the month of April:
- April 18-19
- April 20-21
- April 25-26
